The mission of the Virginia based Lynchburg Hornets 10U Travel Baseball Team is to teach the integrity of the game of baseball, to develop the character of its players, coaches, and all others associated with the Hornet program, and to improve the skills necessary to become a better baseball player. The Hornets want to provide the best learning atmosphere, the best competition, and a fun atmosphere to play and watch competitive baseball for families and friends of the Hornets..
The Hornets organization welcomes players and parents who are committed to improving their skills, playing competitively and supporting the Hornets mission. It is a program for players to improve their skills through instruction and by playing against competitive teams through participation in USSSA tournaments.
Through the support of parents, players, volunteers, and community support the Hornet Baseball team will work to improve in citizenship, baseball skill, and always strive to play and live with character. In addition to baseball, citizenship, and character it is of the utmost importance that members of this team are committed to their academics. Our team is expected to complete homework assignments daily, be prepared for school each day, and to first be an excellent student.

Lynchburg Hornets Inaugural Tournament Cancelled

The Hornets are now officially entered into their first tournament, The Fall Finale on October 29th and 30th at Peaks View Park in Lynchburg, VA.
